- Limit the number of keywords per page; 2 or 3 is best. Keywords or key phrases are the words searchers use to find your product.
- Make the page about these 2 or 3 keywords only. Provide relevant content on your page and your title should describe this content.
- Have an image and name it with a key phrase.
- Put a key word or phrase in the title, Meta tag and first paragraph. Remove any words used repeatedly. Your article should be written the way people talk, not to attract search engines.
I just finished replacing a calendar page for a client. It took me 25 minutes to do and they were charged for 15 minutes ($14.95). This was two type written pages. It was so quick since I do this all day and have the knowledge and the right tools right here. Today I saw a sign on a fast food restaurant that said “Dinner for 5, $3 each” well now that sounds real cheap but if you think about that is actually $15 plus sales tax. It is those things you have to watch, sure you want to sell merchandise but more importantly you want to be in business over the long term and get return customers. Have you ever been at a web site and wanted to buy something but could not find the price unless you clicked and the buy link? Even worse have you ever bought something and when checking out found the shipping charges too high? No wonder the product was so cheap. This is false economy because even though the vendor got you to buy today you probably will not be back. Remember it is business in the long term that matters not today’s sales.

A little hidden gem you may not of heard of, Google’s Advanced Search Operators, will search for very specific things in Google’s index. Such as all of the sites that are linked to a given page, sites that Google thinks are related to a given page or just limit the search results to a given domain.
- Link:dashaver.com will give all pages linked to www.dashaver.com
- Site:dashaver.com will list all pages on dashaver.com in the Google index

Your About Me Page can put a human face on your business just like a hometown business. People are more comfortable with someone they know than with an unknown entity.
For an individual this should be bio about you and be sure to include a picture. A picture is a necessity for free-lancer or individual contractor. Include your experience and why your product is what they want. For a small company this would be your company history and how your company suits their particular needs.
