How To Add Content To Your Drupal Web Site

  1. How to use drupal
    This location will vary according to the theme you are using. Find the menu option called create content, maybe on a menu on the left or right. This option will only appear if you are signed on and allowed to add content.

  2. After following that option you should see a screen like in this illustration. Choose your content type. This list may vary according to the content types you are allowed to use. Story is usually used for a simple article.

  3. This screen may also vary according to your permissions. Put your article in the space labeled body.

  4. Fill in your title under title and again under menu link title. You can find menu link title by clicking on menu settings. You can leave the parent item as it is or choose another, this is what menu your new story will be on.

  5. At the bottom find save and click there to publish your article.
